Pink Friday - Billy the robot

Såg att två bloggare frågade om Billy roboten. Fick ett uppdrag att göra en film till bokhyllan Billys 20årsdag. Fick lite uppgifter hos ikea då, kring 2009. Kom på att jag nog inte gjorde nåt bra inlägg om det då så jag kör det en gång till!

Billy the robot:

Jag valde att göra ett robot skåp eftersom jag är barnslig förtjust i robotar. Jag har gjort några leksaker i samma stil jag blev inspirerad av innan jag satte igång.

Så det första jag gjorde var att montera ihop delar av skåpet. Sedan tog jag och skissa på robotens olika delar. Det extra hyllplanet och sågade jag ut armar och små runda "plattor" ur. Sedan tog jag två spånskivor och limma ihop och såga i för att få ett par fötter. Borrade i en liten träskål och såga av en blompinne i lagom storlek, dessa blir senare en liten antenn. Sedan satte jag igång att måla alla delar efter ruggat upp ytan lite och tvättat dem med målartvätt. Under tiden det allt torkar klipper jag ut ögon, mun och kontrollpanel i hårda papper som jag också målar på med svart akrylfärg som torkar snabbt.

När allt torkat borrade jag hål genom skåpsväggen där jag sedan montera in armar och runda plattor på en långskruv. En liten rund platta på varje sida om armarna. Slutligen fäster jag det med en mutter. Sätter på vitrindörren efter anvisningarna. Plattan som kom med i köpet av vitrinskåpsdörren limmar jag fast ögon,mun och "kontrollpanel" på och monterar fast i dörren. Den lilla skålen och blomsterpinnen sättsihop med lite lim och på toppen sätter jag gummibollen som eg är en kattleksak genom att göra ett litet kryss med en kniv. Denna sätts dit med monteringslim. Fötterna sätts också dit med monteringslim kan även skruvas fast bakifrån. Nu är roboten klar! Man kan även vrida åt armen utåt så kan man hänga sin väska på den eller annat, då får man bara skruva åt den lite hådare.

Fantasi och lite tålamod

En sticksåg (helst två bockar till)

Lackfärg

Sandpapper

Målartvätt

Till kroppen

Billybokhylla 40X102cm

Vitrinskåpsdörr (i den finns en skiva)

Hådare papper och lite akrylfärg

Till 2 armar och 4"plattor":

Ett extra hyllplan från en 80cm bred billyhylla

Två långa skruvar med rundplattor och mutter

Till antennen:

En liten träskål

En mindre plastboll

Monteringslim

Till Fötter:

Spånskivor

Trälim
